Las Gran Marchas Revisited (2016) is a multifaceted community-based project that commemorates the ten-year anniversary of the largest immigrant rights demonstrations in U.S. history, on March 25th & May 1st 2006 in Los Angeles. The project features a series of site-specific street interventions that include a 16-page bilingual commemorative publication with 25 of my photographs and 6 articles by some of the main organizers of the marches. On May 1, 2016, the interventions took place at the locations where the images on the large format prints were originally captured in downtown L.A., Koreatown, MacArthur Park, and other key sites ten years prior.
